E. B. Henderson formed the Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (ISAA), the first African American athletic league; the Eastern Board of Officials (EBO), the first organization to train and organize officials; and the Public School Athletic League (PSAL).
Overlooked for decades, Henderson was finally enshrined in the National Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013 as a contributor.
